Reds Advance to Championship Series
The Greeneville Reds are one step closer to the Championship Series.

The club prevailed 8-6 at Ripken Stadium tonight to eliminate the Aberdeen Ironbirds and advance to the Championship Series.

The Reds won the series by a 3-1 margin, with center fielder and series MVP Jake Berghoff leading the way.

"I'm proud of all the guys," Berghoff said. "This was a team effort, not just me."

The Greeneville Reds will play against the Mahoning Valley Scrappers in the next round. Mahoning Valley won their series against the Williamsport Crosscutters 3 games to 1. The Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Seminfinals finishes.
