Semifinals Goes the Distance, Eugene Prevails
After their 4-1 win today over the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes, the Eugene Emeralds will advance to the Championship Series.

Despite coming out on the losing side, the series MVP award went to Salem-Keizer second baseman Hak-joon Park. Park told a reporter from the Salem-Keizer News that he was disappointed in the loss, and hopes to be back next year competing for the Championship Series

Eugene won the series 3-2. The Eugene Emeralds will play against the Hillsboro Hops in the next round. Hillsboro won their series against the Boise Hawks 3 games to 1. The Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Semifinals finishes.
