Salazar, Tanaka Swap Teams Thursday, November 16th , 2045 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Olmecas announced today the acquisition of 23-year old LHP Makoto Tanaka from the Yucatan Leones in exchange for 23-year old C Luis Armijo, 23-year old 1B Jorge Salazar, and 23-year old LHP Juan Pimentel. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Olmecas, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Lifetime Tanaka has a 2-6 won-lost record and a 2.20 ERA with 24 saves. He has made 83 games, logged 114.2 innings and fanned 94 batters. |
