Wildwood Punchless in 9-0 Loss to Legion Sunday, January 19th , 2031 Jeff Bates scattered 2 hits over 9 innings, going the distance in the Columbus Legion 9-0 victory over the Wildwood Bombers at Bombers Park. The 23-year-old Bates whiffed 5 and issued 5 walks. "Not perfect today, but I'll definitely take it," Bates said. "I made a couple mistakes but thankfully they didn't get all of them and the guys behind me cleaned things up."
