Gamblers-Whitecaps Fight Nets 4-Game Suspensions Friday, August 15th , 2031 Andy Andre of the Reno Gamblers and Santiago Vigil of the West Michigan Whitecaps got into a wrestling match yesterday at LMCU Ballpark and now must pay the consequences for violating league rules. They have both been assessed 4-game suspensions by the league for inciting the heated altercation between the two clubs. Andre is hitting .248 for the season with 11 home runs, 29 RBIs and 49 runs scored. He has 104 hits in 419 at-bats and played in 103 games. Taking a look at his season, Vigil has made 24 relief appearances, recorded 1 save and compiled a 1-2 won-lost mark and a 3.33 ERA. In pitching 54 innings, he has totaled 44 strikeouts and 20 walks. |
