Garcia and Alvarez Suspended, Out 5 Games Friday, May 26th , 2028 El Paso's Adolis Garcia and Oklahoma City's Andrew Alvarez have been handed 5-game suspensions for their parts in yesterday's upheaval at Southwest University park. The teams were notified today that the suspensions would go into effect immediately. According to the league commissioner Garcia and Alvarez provoked and incited the brawl and bore the blame for what transpired. In the 2028 season Garcia is hitting .284 with 5 home runs. This season Alvarez has been credited with no saves. In 8 relief appearances and 16.1 innings he has a 1-1 won-lost mark, 7.16 ERA and 14 strikeouts |
