All game long, San Jose's Demitri Diamant was rattling the walls at John Thurman Field and banging out base hits against the Modesto Nuts. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Giants had a win, 18-1.

Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 25-year-old third baseman said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this."

Demitri Diamant walked in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Brad Cardenas in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Dan Edwards in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
