Indians Net 5-1 Win Over Red Sox
|
Behind an impressive start by Patrick Sandoval, Cleveland beat Boston, 5-1. Andrew Kittredge finished to wrap up his 2nd save. The Indians, with only their 6th win in 20 games, could be the worst team in the league.
Cleveland relied on the hitting of Jarred Kelenic to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Indians on top, 3-1. For the game, Kelenic had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
Kelenic called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
