Bradfield Jr. Belts Bunch of Base Hits
Enrique Bradfield Jr. exploded for a barrage of base hits today at NYSEG Stadium.

The Binghamton center fielder had a field day in the 17-4 triumph over the Somerset Patriots, finishing 5-for-6.

"My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch."

Bradfield Jr. must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Enrique Bradfield Jr. doubled in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and singled in the 8th.

Bradfield Jr. is batting at a .288 pace this season, picking up 123 hits in 427 at-bats with 20 home runs, 60 RBIs and 84 runs scored.
