Expos Suffer 7-4 Setback
Boston third baseman Colson Montgomery made his presence felt in the 7-4 Red Sox triumph over the Montreal Expos. Montgomery was 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Boston pitcher Christian Montes de Oca got the win. He's now 4-9. Jose Alvarado was tagged with the loss. Luke Murphy converted his 1st save in 1 tries.

Montgomery had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-0 sinker from Jose Alvarado, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Red Sox a 7-4 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Montgomery.

"We'll sip on a cold one and savor this win," said Montgomery.

The win puts Boston at 53-90.
