Cincinnati starter Eury Perez pitched well against the Minnesota Twins at Target Field. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-2. Cincinnati is now 82-66, while Minnesota is 69-80.

Cincinnati used the timely hitting of Jeremy Pena to capture the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Reds on top, 5-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but he made it count.

"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Pena. "It sure beats the alternative."
