Reds Get One-Run Win at Atlanta
The Atlanta Braves got a superb performance from pitcher Martin Perez, but the Cincinnati Reds still won the game, 5-4. Perez threw 6.1 innings allowing 4 runs. With the win, the Reds have a record of 72-62.

Cincinnati used a timely hit from Daulton Varsho to get the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Reds ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

Varsho told the Cincinnati Chronicle: "Win or lose, I don't want to see our team outhustled."
