Nationals Grind Out 2-1 Win
|
In a low-scoring contest between the Washington Nationals and the Oklahoma City Red Hawks, Spencer Strider was the X factor. The Washington right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. With the win, the Nationals have a record of 71-69.
Eric Ravotti helped out the Washington cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the catcher drove in one run.
Ravotti said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
