Indians Pull Even With 4-1 Victory
Cleveland Indians starter Sam Gaviglio turned in an exceptional performance against the Minnesota Twins at Progressive Field, resulting in a Cleveland win, 4-1. Gaviglio, now 1-0, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 3, walking 3, and allowing 1 run. The 4th-place Indians sport a record of 62-62.

Early in the game, designated hitter Anthony Santander had a 2-run home run for Cleveland. It was his 25th home run of the season and put the Indians on top, 2-0.
