Laureano Lifts Royals to 9-1 Triumph
|
Getting offensive support from Ramon Laureano, the Kansas City Royals topped the Montreal Expos, 9-1. Laureano went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5 for the Royals. The Royals raised their record to 56-58.
In the top of the second, Laureano had one of his most important at-bats: a run-scoring single off Jalen Beeks that staked the Royals to a 2-1 lead.
"I had some good swings out there," said Laureano.
