Hamlin 5-for-5 Against Gilbert
|
5 hits in a game is generally considered a noteworthy achievement, but for Jeremy Hamlin, it felt rather hollow.
The 24-year-old went 5-for-5 at the plate at Trail Blazers Ballpark today, but his Irving Trail Blazers fell to the Gilbert Minutemen, 4-3.
"It's hard to get too excited," the third baseman told BNN following the game. "After a game like this, everyone's quiet and they just want to go home."
Jeremy Hamlin doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 10th and walked in the 12th.
This season Hamlin is batting .213 with 15 RBIs, 12 runs scored and no home runs.
