Quezada Fashions No-Hitter Against Giants
Aurora Gators starter Josh Quezada came up big today at Oracle Park with an exceptional 1-0 outing against the Medford Giants. Not only did he whip them, but Quezada held them hitless, too.

"My arm was a bit sore in warmups," confessed Quezada. "Sometimes you go out there and you're not feeling all that hot. You get into the game and all of a sudden in the seventh inning you look up and see the scoreboard and think to yourself, 'Oh, my goodness, I have a no-hitter!' You're so focused on what you're doing, it just happens."

In the course of the no-hitter, Quezada collected 14 strikeouts and surrendered 1 walk -- a day good enough to get his name in the history books.

In 26 starts this season, Quezada has recorded 16 wins and absorbed 7 losses. He has pitched 185 innings, allowed 148 hits, struck out 166 and has a 2.43 ERA.
