The Texas Rangers called upon starter Shane McClanahan, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the Minnesota Twins, 1-0. The loss makes Minnesota 42-26.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Texas designated hitter Christian Arroyo, facing Luis Gil, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Rangers the 1-0 win.

"I know we have our doubters," said Minnesota manager Ryan Donaldson. "But I still have high hopes for this team."
