Toros Advance to Round 2
The Tijuana Toros will continue the trek towards a Round 2 title, while the Fresno Grizzlies are headed home for the season.

Tijuana won the Round 1 with a clinching game 6-1 victory at Chukchansi Park, concluding the series at 4-1.

"We didn't want this thing to go any further, that's for sure," Juan Castillo said after officially being named series MVP.

He turned in a dominant offensive performance to win the award, with a .588 batting average, .682 on-base percentage, 2 home runs, 4 RBI and 4 runs scored.

The Tijuana Toros don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes - Bakersfield Blaze series. Bakersfield leads the series 3 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
