Mariners Get 6-3 Win Versus Houston
The Seattle Mariners downed the Houston Astros, 6-3, at T-Mobile Park. Carlos Correa led the way, going 2-for-3 for Seattle. Jose Urquidy picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 6-8. Norge Vera was tagged with the loss. Earning his 1st save for Seattle was Austin Davis.

Seattle second baseman Luis Guillorme contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With two down, he hit a slider into right-center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 48th hit of the season and put the Mariners ahead, 4-3.

Guillorme attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."

The first-place Mariners have their sights set on making a deep playoff run.
