Beau Sylvester put on a hitting clinic today as the New York N (DSL) Mets dumped the Atlanta (DSL) Braves 9-7 at Atlanta Braves Complex.

The New York N (DSL) catcher made Atlanta (DSL) defenders earn their pay, lashing Atlanta (DSL) pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Sylvester said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Beau Sylvester doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, doubled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th.
