Baltimore Bats Go Silent in 3-0 Loss
|
New York rode a good effort from starter Alex Santos II to beat the Baltimore Orioles at Yankee Stadium. The final score was 3-0. New York goes to 18-13.
The Yankees got a big hit from second baseman Roc Riggio. In the bottom of the sixth, Riggio pounded a 2-run home run to right. His 9th home run of the season put the Yankees ahead, 3-0.
Riggio called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
