Bad Behavior Costs Sanchez and Thompson Wednesday, June 12th , 2024 Axel Sanchez of the Palm Beach Cardinals and Ben Thompson of the Tampa Tarpons will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Cardinals-Tarpons game at George M. Steinbrenner Field. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Sanchez and Thompson will begin serving them soon. Currently Sanchez is batting .258 with 7 home runs and 39 RBIs. This year, Thompson has compiled a 0-7 mark with a 6.93 ERA in 12 starts. |
