Alcantara Whiffs 16, Los Angeles (DSL) Tops Miami (DSL) Friday, August 9th , 2024 Adrian Alcantara of the Los Angeles (DSL) Dodgers Mega put on a pitching clinic at Miami Marlins Complex, as he struck out 16 Miami (DSL) Marlins 2 in a 7-0 victory. Alcantara, who is tied for 5th in the with a 0.84 WHIP, was simply magnificent, holding the Marlins 2 to 4 hits. He walked 0. "I felt okay at the beginning," Alcantara said, "but eventually my fastball really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Alcantara's performance, Dodgers Mega manager Leury Bonilla shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was good out there today. He was dominating." This year, Alcantara has compiled a 6-0 mark with a 1.78 ERA. |
