Ruckus Reaps 4-Game Suspensions Sunday, July 7th , 2024 Yesterday at Dutchess Stadium a spat between Bryan Andrade of the Hudson Valley Renegades and Jorge Avendano of the Brooklyn Cyclones ended with the both benches clearing as players rushed to protect their teammates. Today, the incident ended with the league suspending both Andrade and Avendano for 4 games for their fight. So far this year, Andrade is batting .152 with 6 home runs, 11 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He has made 27 relief appearances this year with 1 saves. Avendano has achieved a 1-3 record while holding opposing hitters to a .301 batting average and posting a 9.56 ERA. He has tossed 32 innings, given up 40 base hits, fanned 37 and issued 22 walks. |
