Rowdy Players Suspended by League Saturday, May 25th , 2024 After an intense confrontation, both the Wind Surge Jack Rogers and the Missions Porter Hodge were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Wichita-San Antonio game. Jack Rogers will miss 4 games, while Porter Hodge was suspended for 6 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Jack Rogers commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Currently Rogers is batting .227 with 3 home runs and 10 RBIs. Over the season Hodge has thrown 39.1 innings and dished out 39 strikeouts with a 2-1 mark and a 4.35 ERA. |
