Hat Trick of Home Runs for Fuentes Thursday, June 27th , 2024 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Hammons Field buzzing, Arkansas Travelers third baseman Joshua Fuentes blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 15-1, over the Springfield Cardinals. "Everything was clicking," Fuentes told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Fuentes shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 6 at-bats, 7 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Travelers manager Christian Colon said. "Joshua played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Joshua Fuentes grounded out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Manuel Rodriguez in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Manuel Rodriguez in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Yorman Gomez in the 8th and flied out in the 9th. To date this year, Fuentes is batting .368 with 3 home runs. |
