5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Aberdeen's Jeremy Rivas made it happen against the Cyclones. Everything came together at the plate for the 21-year-old shortstop as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and helped the Ironbirds triumph, 13-5, at MCU Park.

"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Rivas said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em."

Jeremy Rivas singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Juan Abreu in the 9th.

Thus far this season, Rivas has hit .329 with 8 home runs, 33 RBIs and scored 25 times.
