With the season over and the final out recorded, teams are already looking towards the next year. Coaches, trainers, and staff are up the next day at the crack of dawn, moving pitching mounds into place, setting up equipment, loosening their arms, and prepping plans for the players they will be working with. With the doors of their development complexes open, organizations can now send players to their facility for personalized offseason work, in order to improve specific aspects of their game.

MID Headline News: The Offseason Begins

The last cheers for the 2059 MID champions still hang in the air as the baseball season has come to a close. Lockers sit empty, while fans and media reflect on the season just concluded. The players are already relaxing, taking advantage of this opportunity to heal some of the aches and pains from the long season.

Meanwhile, general managers and team staff take stock of their teams and plot roster moves. Scouts are busier than ever, hoping to find that hidden gem that will boost their own fortunes as well as their team's. In a few months, the new landscape of Midwest League will become apparent, as the preseason gets under way.
