Daamen Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games Monday, April 13th , 2076 Neal Daamen of the Rotterdam College Irish has now hit safely in 20 straight games. He socked 3 hits in today's 13-11 triumph over Monterrey College at Irish Grounds. "20 games is a big chunk of the year, isn't it?" Daamen said to reporters. "It's hard to wrap your head around." Neal Daamen singled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and doubled in the 7th. This year, Daamen is batting .314 with 13 home runs and 39 RBIs. |
