Gaels Halt Chapa Hit Streak Saturday, April 11th , 2076 The Gaels stopped Francisco Chapa's 28-game hitting streak at Tiger Sharks Grounds, but they couldn't stop the Bucaramanga College Tiger Sharks, falling by the score of 6-5. Chapa didn't get a hit for the first time in weeks, finishing 0-for-4. "It's just as well," Tiger Sharks manager said. "We couldn't spend the whole season going out of our way not to jinx him." So far in 2076 Chapa is batting .323 with 4 home runs, 21 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He has 53 hits in 164 at-bats and a .378 OBP. |
