Granado Slaps 5 Hits Friday, April 10th , 2076 Jaques Granado said "it felt like taking batting practice" at Railers Field, and it showed in the box score. The Maracaibo College first baseman had a fantastic 5-for-5 day against the Bogota College Railers, leading his club to victory, 15-3. "I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Granado said later." Jaques Granado singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jose Robles in the 6th, walked in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Eddie Arriaga in the 8th. For the year, Granado is batting .348 with 12 home runs. |
