Quigley Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits Wednesday, July 22nd , 2076 It was a high-five day for Craig Quigley, at least for a while. The Fukuoka catcher got plenty of them from his teammates when he reached the five-hit milestone during today's game against the Montreal Pole Dancers, but they were in short supply at the end, as Montreal won the game, 8-7. Quigley finished with an impressive 5-for-7 line, but the Cougars couldn't hold off the Pole Dancers. "Craig was hitting everything," said Cougars manager . "It's too bad the other guys couldn't rise to the occasion." Craig Quigley flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th, struck out in the 10th and singled in the 12th. For the year, Quigley is batting .344 with 8 home runs, 33 RBIs and 33 runs scored. |
