Nightmares Win, Fitzgerald has 4 hits
Led by Joe Fitzgerald, the Alamos Town Nightmares downed the Tampa Bay Halfcvsts, 11-5. Fitzgerald went 4-4 with a home run, a triple, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 4 for the Nightmares. Alamos Town reliever Tom Shrum snagged the win, upping his record to 4-0. Tokuzo Ishida shouldered the loss. The Nightmares, at 50-36, lead by one game in their division.

DeMario Gil cracked a home run off Tokuzo Ishida in the bottom of the sixth. His 3-run blast put the Nightmares on top, 8-5. In all, Gil had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 5.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Fitzgerald told the Alamos Town Gazette.
