The Fools Town Fricks defeated the Pere Cheney Plaguebringers, 9-1. Left Fielder Craig Mills deserved a large share of the credit. Mills went 2 for 3 with a triple, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for the Fricks. The win makes Fools Town 21-26.
Jong-young Yoo had a big 2-run home run for the Fricks in the bottom of the third inning. With Fools Town trailing 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a fastball from Hirosato Tanaka, who is tied for 3rd in the SBL in wins with 5, and swatted a home run to left. It was his 5th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Fricks ahead, 2-1.
"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said Mills.
