Flores Helps Alamos Town Cruise to 11-3 Win
Alamos Town took on Carolina in front of a lively crowd.

The Alamos Town Nightmares coasted to a win over the Carolina Disco Turkeys, 11-3. Leo Flores had a good day at the plate for Alamos Town. He went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Ottavio Rovigo got the win, improving to 5-4. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 8 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 1.

The Disco Turkeys had been locked in a 3-3 tie with the Nightmares going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 2073 Rookie of the Year Award winner Tyan-yu Niu came to the plate. Niu hit a 2-run double on a first pitch slider from Carolina hurler Sergio Cruz. It was Niu's 20th double of the year.

Said Alamos Town manager Emo Cvst: "Our approach was outstanding all night long."

At 25-23, the Nightmares claim 5th place in the Division 1.
