Victory Over Stars Takes Lincoln to 77-47
Lincoln turned a good effort from starter Eddie Solomon into a win over the Las Vegas Stars at Landis Field. The final score was 3-1. Lincoln is now 77-47, Las Vegas 70-54.

The game could have flipped with no one out in the top of the sixth. But Eddie Solomon made what his manager later called "an A-plus pitch." With runners on 1st and 2nd and Las Vegas trailing 3-1, Solomon threw a fastball to Craig Robinson and Robinson hit into a double play.
