Glenn Abbott could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Memphis Blues lost, dropping a 1-0 decision to the Eugene Emeralds at Civic Stadium. Earning his 14th save for Eugene was Roy Lee Jackson. With this game in the books, Eugene is 81-40, Memphis 49-72.
