Oilers Deal Links 3-1 Loss
|
In a well-pitched game between the Tulsa Oilers and the Lincoln Links, pitcher Al Heath was superb. The Tulsa left-hander helped his team win, 3-1. The loss drops Lincoln to 3-1.
Tulsa won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and Bob Mayer on the mound for Lincoln, third baseman Jim Anderson hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Oilers fans to their feet.
"The house was rockin'," said Anderson.
