Davis Strokes 5 Hits Friday, August 12th, 2039 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Omaha's 5-4 win over Rochester today, catcher Julian Davis was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Bandits Ballpark. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Davis said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Julian Davis doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, tripled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 10th. Presently Davis is batting .332 with 5 home runs and 39 RBIs.
