Cullman HS Takes Sweet 16 in Deciding Game Wednesday, May 3rd, 2045 With a narrow 2-1 series win, the Cullman HS Cavaliers have eliminated the Jefferson City HS Jaguars and are Sweet 16 winners. "We tried not to look ahead to the Quarterfinals, but we thought we'd be there for sure," said first baseman Drew Bovee, who was named series MVP. Cullman HS won the final game by a score of 4-3, wrapping it up at Cavs Park. Bovee's big series saw him hit .455 with a .455 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 2 runs.
