Raiders Prevail, as Sweet 16 Goes to the Wire Wednesday, May 3rd, 2045 The Cretin-Derham Hall HS Raiders and Stoneman Douglas HS Eagles held nothing back in an entertaining Sweet 16 that went the distance. In the end, it will be Cretin-Derham Hall HS advancing to the Quarterfinals, after a 5-1 triumph in the final game at Raider Park, to wrap up the series 2-1. The Raiders players celebrated jubilantly in their clubhouse after the game, while the scene was one of dismay on the opposing side for the Eagles. Scott Waggoner was named series MVP for Cretin-Derham Hall HS. For the series, Waggoner hit .615 with a .625 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 3 runs.
