Best CCBL Reliever Named Monday, May 14th , 2063 Cole Carter was a calming influence out of the Harwich Mariners bullpen this season. His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 17-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the Cape Cod League Reliever of the Year Award for 2063. The Eden, North Carolina native won the award with 3 saves in 25 relief appearances, 16 strikeouts in 40 innings and a record of 2-2 to go with his 2.48 ERA. He received 8 first place votes out of a possible 10. Greg Bus of the Falmouth Commodores finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Blake Munsey of the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox finished third.
