Brewster Takes Round 1 Tuesday, April 20th , 2060 It went the distance, but the Brewster Whitecaps finally disposed of the Chatham Anglers 13-1 in the series clincher at Stony Brook Field. Winning the finale gave the Whitecaps the series, 2-1. They will now advance to the Round 2. The Most Valuable Player Award went to Brewster third baseman Blake Meyer. He batted .385 in the series, collecting 3 RBIs and scoring 2 runs. "Blake deserves it," said Whitecaps manager Kaneie Kuwata. "He was the glue that held our club together."
