Orleans Sweeps into the Cape Cup Monday, April 25th , 2061 Many baseball pundits expected a close series in the Cape Cod League Round 2. It turned out quite a bit different. The Orleans Firebirds swept aside the Bourne Braves to advance to the Cape Cup, winning the final game by a 13-3 score at Doran Park. The series MVP was center fielder Toby Foster, who hit .500 with a .545 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 4 runs. "We expected this series to go right down to the wire, so to sweep is a bit of a surprise," he said. "But we'll take it."
