League Suspends Seymour and Atkin for Brawl
Wednesday, March 25th , 2065
Kenneth Seymour of the Falmouth Commodores and Cole Atkin of the Brewster Whitecaps will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 3 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Commodores-Whitecaps game at Stony Brook Field.
Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Seymour and Atkin will begin serving them soon.
Currently Seymour is hitting .277 and has collected 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 18 times, while playing in 34 games.
On the season, Atkin has compiled a 3-2 mark with a 3.56 ERA in 8 starts. In pitching 43 innings he has 45 strikeouts and 9 walks while limiting the opposition to a .275 batting average.
