Cross Pounds CCBL Pitchers This Week Monday, April 2nd , 2063 Derick Cross of Yarmouth-Dennis was a smashing success this week, winning the Player of the Week Award in the Cape Cod League. He hit everything the pitchers threw at him, hammering them for a .450 batting average, going 9 for 20 with 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and scoring 7 times. Presently Cross is batting .333 with 51 hits and 5 home runs. He has knocked in 25 runs and scored 28 times. |
