CCBL Names Top Player of the Week Monday, March 15th , 2060 It was an exceptional week for Jakob Montoya of the Wareham Gatemen. First he beat the devil out of the ball, hitting .524 and as you would expect, he was voted the Player of the Week in the Cape Cod League. Last week Montoya went 11-for-21, notched 3 home runs and 4 RBIs and scored 6 runs. All in all, a very good week for him. This season in 27 games, Montoya has hit at a .314 clip with 38 hits, 4 home runs, 16 RBIs and 15 runs scored. |
