Red-Hot Hines Scorches Anglers Friday, March 12th , 2060 Coy Hines was unstoppable, but the Wareham Gatemen were not. Despite his hitting heroics at Veteran's Field today, the Gatemen lost 12-8 to the Chatham Anglers. Hines battered Chatham for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His only consolation will be a boost in his batting average and a brief mention in the record book. Hines just shook his head after the game, telling BNN reporters, "It's the team with the most runs that wins, not the most hits." Coy Hines singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Thus far this season Hines has hit .362 with 5 home runs, 12 RBIs and scored 18 times.
