Foster Hits in 31 Straight Games Friday, February 27th , 2060 The hitting streak for Orleans center fielder Toby Foster now stands at 31 games, but the Firebirds dropped today's contest 8-5 to the Brewster Whitecaps. Foster went 2-for-4 in the game. "Things went well for me personally today," he said later. "I got 2 hits and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Toby Foster struck out in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Elisha Giorgetti in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off James Clay in the 8th. This season Foster has delivered 25 hits in 58 at-bats for a .431 average with 9 home runs. He is getting on base at a .515 clip and his totals also include 24 RBIs and 19 runs scored.
